So your references all dried up/stopped answering... Now what?

Hey folks.
So I recently tried to set up an appointment with an agency I have not done business with before. Went through the usual screening, gave reference material, the standard stuff. Got word back that all my references "don't answer or don't remember". Gave more references, "one number disconnected other goes direct to voice mail".

So what do you do when your references don't respond anymore? I tried calling a few myself and none picked up. At this point with no references I am basically out of the hobby since every provider I would want to see is a decent/smart one that requires 1-3 references. My other agency I go to has done the old owner swap-a-roo too so my history there is toast as well.

Has anyone had this happen? Any suggestions on how to get throug this (preferably without risking my safety/wellbeing/sanity with a backpage shot in the dark)?

There are alot of newbie friendly providers here to help you out, research is your friend.

So far my newbie friendly ones I have seen conveniently "don't remember" after about 2 weeks. I guess I'll have to go back to p411 which I was kinda trying to avoid as its the same problem there. Most any of the girls of like to see require a few oks and the ones that don't never seem to hit that approve button when you request one.

I concur -- it is very difficult.. Those I want to see are tough without recent references who can remember. I'm really not into seeing some one I am not interested in just cuz she is newbie friendly and to get a reference.

I agree, and as a provider I would not want to be used as a stepping stone for a client. P411 seems to be the best option as even if your lady removes her ad, your ok still stands there with your acct showing that she did give you an ok.
