What do you think?

I would specify a PHOTO ID.
I had to show a form of identification to vote in the Texas primary.
All it had to be was something with my name and address on it.

That's reaonable. Dead voters (Democrats) should be exempt from the photo ID requirement. Let's face it, it's hard for a zombie to get a driver's license.

I agree; not much of an ID if it doesn't have a photograph is it?

I think all voters should bring photo ID, birth certificate or proof of naturalized citizenship, and a copy of a W-2 form or other suitable documentation to prove they pay taxes (and sales taxes don't count).

I have never seen an ECCIE poll in which the results are so one-sided. It mirrors recent polling of the same issue -70% of Americans favor voter ID laws.

Beggars shouldn't be allowed to be choosers. No representation without taxation! We have half the country voting on how big their welfare check should be. No wonder we're broke.

I need an ID to check out a library book from the library, but not vote for the President of the United States. Talk about a failure of logic.

I like the implication; 70% of Americans support voter ID which means that a number of people (democrats) who DON'T support voter ID must be something else. I'm talking about the elected representatives who are 50% of the vote but don't support ID. Means that about half are not Americans.
