Are you suffering from COPD? ED? IBS? CA?

The moment I see someone on TV asking if I'm afflicted with anything like the above my CISD (Chronic Irritable Initials Disease) flares up. Who started this crap? Did some white-haired geezer wearin' a Depends for his IBS and poppin Viagra for the ED catch a clip from GLEE or some other youth-oriented show and figure "those fuckin' kids talk thru letters!!! Coooolllll!!!!!"

Gotta tell ya..as I grow older I'm finding commercials like this worthy of the Mute button. It's ironic how much more enjoyable a television program becomes when you silence the commercial-spewing hucksters!

In addition to those commercials, we are exposed to those pesky pop-up adds that offer the same irritating acronyms. And some of these could be confounded with other acronyms. For example, BBS is Bashful Bladder Syndrome.
