Interesting word, "smokeshow" -- it now means someone so hot that you can virtually see the smoke coming off them, an extremely attractive individual.

Previously, I've heard and seen it used to mean a scam, a mirage, because I believe it came from a magician using smoke to conceal the trickery. "That sales presentation was a total smoke show because the salesman just talked about it without a real demonstration of the product."
