So when the polls favor YOUR guy, you believe them. Otherwise they are "scewed"?
LOL.
Ok, remember this moment.

The Gallup poll showed Romney at 50-46 on Tuesday and 49-47 on Monday.
The numbers do not reflect Tuesday night's debate, in which many observers concluded that Obama had a stronger performance than Romney, if only slightly

The Gallup poll is based on a seven day rolling average. Polling done on Wednesday is part of the seven day average that came out today. The Wednesday poll would show the effect of the debate from the night before. It would be interesting to see Gallup's numbers for Wednesday, by itself, and not as part of a seven day average. Apparently the Wednesday numbers were very strong for Romney because they drove up the average by a point when they were averaged in.

from what Ive read, the response to the debate wont show up in polls for at least 72 hours ..
the immediate reaction after the debate clearly gave Obie a definite advantage ... but that doesnt count ...

The polls are bullshit and you all know it. Romney will beat the crap out of Obama and the polls won't be anywhere close.

I hope you're right. The polls for McCain vs Obama were mostly accurate, at least in the last couple of weeks. I'll be happy to get any kind of victory. I just want Obama gone.

That's up a point from the day before. Rasmussen's poll is a three day rolling average. A one point bump in the three day average, probably means a three point bump from the day after the debate.

if it doesnt it dont count
I like to look at all the polls and take a "rolling" average rather than rely on one single poll

This was posted literally 2 hours ago today: http://www.enstarz.com/articles/8211...-standings.htm
Despite a strong performance in the first Presidential Debate by Governor Mitt Romney's campaign, it appears as though President Barack Obama has once again gained a foothold on the polls. The Electoral College votes are currently showing Obama in the lead. With the election 17 days away and judging by the impact on the swing states that the President made in 2008, it may be difficult for Romney to regain his ground by Nov. 6.
Seemingly left behind by the McCain campaign in 2008, Michigan is a state that the Republican was looking to steal from Obama. However, Obama's team has skillfully sold its people on his administration's bail out of the auto industry in Detroit. The latest Rasmussen poll from within the state shows Romney behind by seven points.

Again I am still taking bets fellas- put your money where your mouth is if you believe YOUR polls.
