Default Prepaid phone plans

I am looking for a low cost Prepaid sim to do 2 separate things.

1. use for hobby communications

2. use data for live streaming events

anyone know of good low cost plans that give you enough data to make this work and also could be used for communicating with ladies?

I have verizon for my regular service and sometimes the event streaming has a weak signal so i am looking for an alternate option on a different network that would be a back up to my personal verizon account

I use tracfone - they offer a BYOD service and I pay for 60-90 days of service. you can add on extra data (albeit pretty expensive) but they also offer monthly plans that include unlimited data.

Not sure what you consider to be "low cost", but I use Mint Mobile. I pay $150 for 6 months of unlimited talk and text, with 10 GB per month of data. There are less expensive plans if you don't need that much data, and I know they are currently offering some new customer promos.

That deal with Mint Mobile sounds pretty good. $25 per month is probably worth it.

i guess to take this question 1 step further, does anyone know if any of the low cost options out there are on both GSM and CDMA networks? that would be a win with the streaming aspect of my needs because i could use it in some of those areas where one network is weak but the other is strong which is a frequent issue with streaming. Also, i live in one of those areas where verizon works great but nothing else does so there is that also.

GSM/CDMA isn't a thing after they shut down the 3g networks. With 4g/5g it's mostly just which frequencies are supported. I've used Tello in the past. Use your IMEI number to see if you can bring your existing phone. Looks like they have an unlimited text/calls and 2GB data/month for $60/year. Can go up from there or use pay as you go instead.
