I have been away from Barcelona for over 26 months and have a residence relatively near in Andorra, I do love Barcelona. I will be visiting Barcelona on business in February. I have tried to research some on the laws and risks of hobbling abroad, but I would like the opinion of an experienced hobbyist on how best to proceed.

Go on the sexomercado site, one of Europe's best boards IMHO. Everything and anything you want is on there, even pictures that show which girls suck w or w/o condoms. Cheap prices in private flats are the best deals....

No worries about the laws, I do not think it is legal per se but it is tolerated and have yet to hear of even one guy getting in any trouble. Use the sexomercado site as your review guide not here. Much more information, many more options and avoid any tourist brothels " traps'; CBJ is not the norm in Spain.
