So yeah can money be made..Sure, but then again.

I wanted to specifically list the name of the site in DM's only but it is xxxNifty (xxxnifty.com) - The concept of Adult NFT's is extremely new (about a month old) so the site is still in an early phase, but it does already have a functioning NFT Marketplace.
For verification, we do have a TOS that Content Creators have to agree to (including being 18+), but there is no rigorous Verification process involved. You are correct in that cryptocurrencies fully bypass any need for outside payment processors - Adult NFTs are fully protected from outside meddling by Visa/Mastercard etc.
For price, how it generally works is each photo/video is sold only once (or a handful of times) but for hundreds of dollars each - it is meant to be thought of more of like a collectible or investment, rather than just a plain image or video. There is very specifically a niche but solid market of buyers for NFTs already, and people may buy Adult NFTs purely for the collectible/investment value rather than for the erotic content. The NFTs on xxxNifty are generally being sold for 200 to 600 dollars each, but the content creator can name the price. The content creator then gets 80% of the profits (this is negotiable if wanted).
All of this is very, very early - it is still very much the wild west in the Adult NFT world, and the potential big players in the adult entertainment industry have not joined in yet. It is extremely likely in the next few years that more and more large names and companies will become tied to Adult NFTs - it's a very straightforwardly a low risk/high reward type of venture, and personally I don't see why anyone already making content wouldn't make NFTs out of their existing content just as an additional income stream. I've personally done this, and have sold NFTs myself (on a non-adult market).
If anyone is interested in making NFTs for xxxNifty, there is a sign up for content creators on the website, and I can also field any other questions. We are in particular looking for adult content creators with a notable social media presence, but this isn't 100% necessary at this early point in the website.
