I was considering dancing while in Houston... I know what club I want to dance at but I'm not sure if it's something worth doing.

Ladies, guys, let me know your thoughts on dancing in Houston!

Why? Houston Topless Clubs are a hassle to dance in. You have to register / license with the police department.. and wear the damn thing somewhere on your person (ankle, arm) while topless dancing at all times. In addition some places require you wear pasties, and full bottoms. There are too many regular vice busts in these clubs and the charges are actually stiffer than a prostitution charge if you are arrested for dancing lewd. You really don't make that much money for all the effort you put in to dancing, and talking with the customers. I did topless dancing for years. I was dancing long before they made all the changes in the clubs in Houston back in the 80's early 90s, when it was profitable and fun to dance. It's just not worth the hassle now.

But that's just me. If you really enjoy dancing, and you don't care about all of the above then go for it.

I say you need expert advice... talk to Civil Barrister... aka The Keeper of the Knowledge of All Things That Pertain to Strip Clubs ... I mean you go to a strip club in Houston and they have the regular room, the VIP room, the Champagne Room and Civil Barristers Room...

If you still plan on providing, this would not be a good idea. Management would eventually find out that you were an escort. Guys would drop in all the time hoping to see you. And it only gets worse from there.

it may be a hassle to register...but I the rules have changed regarding registering and pasties. it used to be topless you had to have the license but now i dont see girls wearing them often.

i think you will do great, i will definitely come see you if you let me know where you will be working. there is money to be made...and since you do hobby, i doubt very seriously you will be "providing" in the club unless it is worth your while. im getting excited just thinking about it. i hope its one of my regular clubs....

girls do all kinds of things in the club.... they all look the other way because they are profiting from it. Treasures wanted $500 bucks for vip....lets be real....what do you think is happening for $500. if business is slow....providing is a good backup. You can meet a lot of decent peeps in the SC that don't leave paper trails like hobbist online.

There is a big difference between a strip club girl that provides extras and an escort that advertises on the web.

It was back in 1997 when the city council members pushed and changed the SOB ordinances with regard to the topless clubs, and dancers were then required to be licensed by the vice department. The only way around this is to wear full pasties, and full bottoms, thus you are not dancing topless. But even with this you can still be arrested and charged for violating distance between customers, touching, or any other numerous things they can come up with if they decide to target you. Its a big hassle. Believe me you can make so much more money just staying as a provider versus spending 8-10 hours dancing, and sitting at tables trying to talk patrons into purchasing lap / table dances at 20-25 dollars a peice. Not to mention must use credit cards and the club takes a percentage of your money out of that should they charge it for the dance. As Merlin Stated the managers do visit these type websites and escort venues and if you are spotted or caught it could get you in to trouble. So just be careful. What ever you do, don't try to do "extras" in the club, if you get caught by vice, and it will happen eventually they will rack up the charges and it would be far worse for you. Not a good idea.

I have no plans to do "extras" in the club... BUT I did hear it was a great way to meet new clients. But, I also know not to cause too much attention doing that... so yyyea we shall see.

That was just some bad advice. If you plan on providing, this will not have a happy ending. LE has to be salivating right about now and that club will be targeted.

But hey, I could be wrong.

Hun, no sc has been named and I'm not totally sure I'll be dancing anytime soon.
But, if I do decide to dance I'm going to cut off meeting new guys and stick with dancing

When I first read this and looked at your photo I was hoping that you meant that you'd get out them baggy sweat pants and the Reeboks with the straps. I could see you hit the flo'. I could see you get low low low low, low low low low
