Cashing in on government "service"
Looks like ex US Trade Representative Ron Kirk has traded access to all those contacts he made on the taxpayer's money into a lucrative private sector job.

Mr Kirk openly bragged about using the contacts he gained while on official business of the United States government. He should go into a field where he isn't a rainmaker because he knows all those people he met in office.

Would you do that if you were him?
In the business world, it's called networking.
Nothing vile, evil or unethical here, bro.

If you made contacts in the private sector business world, it isn't trading on government "service". He needs to make a living doing something besides trading on the insider contacts he made playing golf with the President. It is unseemly. He brags about the doors he will open because of who he knows from his days as trade representative. Are you ok with that Mr. Rider?

WOW! A person from the government cashing in using the contacts they made during their service. Like that's never happened before. How many former/defeated House Reps and Senators have done the same thing? From ALL parties.

He hasn't "retired" from politics...............more like voters weren't buying what he was selling....I guess you could call it "forced retirement."
