Default Clint Eastwood To Speak At RNC Convention

Its half-time in America. Time to switch quarterbacks.

That's great. Hopefully he won't shit himself, or punch out a monkey.

Not Good, Not Good At All.

I cannot amagine what the RNC had in mind when they came up with this.

We would all like to believe that Clint Eastwood would add a certain "gravitas" to any gathering, but all we saw was an old man who who should never have been allowed to demean himself in such a manner. He was crude, and disrespectfull. And he might not even realize it.

This does not take away anything from Clint the Actor, Clint the Producer, or Clint the Director. But it did take a little away from Clint the Man.

Eastwood and Rubio did a good job. Romney was awful. I haven't seen a less enthusiastic convention in years.

For those of you wondering, I watched it streaming on YouTube, so I didn't get any commentary at all.

I agree COG- I won't say Romney was awful, but to me he lacks Charisma- and doesn't seem believable- actually Ryan despite some white lies came off more compassionate than Romney. I don't see Romney doing well on one on one debates against Obama because Obama has far more charisma. I dare even say that 2008 McCain came off with more charisma than Romney.

We must not have been watching the same speech. I thought Romney was great! I think Romney-Ryan will probably get a healthy bounce in the polls in the next few days.

Obama has to be very worried.

Compassion, did you see the 2 people he counseled? Their moms and dads spoke. The little boy who was died of cancer. The other girl who had problems and died at 26. He was there for them ALL the way.....what can I say to a smallbrainedidiot but "hello idiot"....

Hopefully, not everyone is stupid enough to vote based on charisma. Nixon beat McGovern in 49 states and I'm pretty sure he didn't have any charisma.

They all get a bounce in the polls. Even Dukakis got a bump. At the end of the day, it's gonna boil down to who shows up and who believes that the GOP actually out dipshitted McCain.

And obviously you weren't alive or aware during that election. Nixon cheated, first of all, (watergate?) and second, McGovern had no presence and had to change running mates weeks before the election.

With any luck, Ryan will be just as lucky.

You probably need to shut the fuck up when grow ups is talking!

Compare Romney's acts of kindness to Obama. Obama has a brother in Kenya that lives in a hut; he recently had to ask a conservative journalist for money to help his sick child. Obama won't lift a finger to help him. Obama is such a hypocrite, it's sickening.

I would love to hear a journalist ask Obama why he won't help his brother. There is no possible excuse for his lack of compassion.

If Paul Ryan was butt fucking Mitt Romney live onstage , you'd spin it as Obama tricked'em into doing it!

Compared with Biden's remarks, Eastwood's performance was outstanding!
