A Provider to a John, "I love you"
Ladies, it's just damn cruel to do that to a newbie. Sure, it is a tool to manipulate the dumb bastard for fun and profit, but it is wrong.
And, it's just stupid to say it to a hobbyist with experience. It sets all the alarm bells off and instead of being able to subtly scheme your way into that little manipulative soft spot you were looking for, it just causes the floodlights to be turned on and cynicism to man the barricades.
And as always, unsolicited texting of "I love you" unless you know the guy's situation is its own problem. Even more so when you've not been contacted in four months.

I would think that would depend on who sent and who got. And in what spirit. On the most part I agree with ya NB.
I have never got text with that, but I have heard them there words. From a few providers that I have been seeing for a long time. And many times was part of doing something for. About to be asked, as doing or after done. So if ya hear it out of the blue. Be ready to say no, if not something you want to do. Or not feel right in doing.
( ya I will take you shopping. No I will not loan cash. I will fix the car. and Please do not move for a long time. LOL)
Now each provider should start there reply post "NB I Love You" in this thread. Just to make him scream for the fun of it, LOL
It was never more as a friend to me. Thank my lucky stars.
edit: to a newbie or some one new to each other its could be a set up. In a pair that know each other well, we hope as friends. Or someone about get feelings hurt. AND last, be ready to throw rice. Best, lets just not go there.

Oops, sorry NB, that was me. It was an accident as I meant to send it to GP, but I "mistexted". Not that I don't find you attractive, but I realize that I am not tall enough for you.
You are right though that I should not have even sent it to GP as playing with his fragile emotions would likely have a bad outcome for all. I can't help being attracted to "the bad boy" though. I guess I will wait for friday when JB is back......

I think that this applies to the guys also.Do you know how many times I have heard that from clients hell I had one guy that I met one time continue to text me after the appt and days later that he loved me mind you I only seen him once and after a few days I had to change my number because he started talking about he loved me so much and he was gonna hurt himself because I wasnt responding to the texts.I usually just let the guys know that they dont love me its just fun and if they continue to say it then I just stop seeing them.Especially after what I went through with the situation I explained its a major turn off.

DT,
Give a primate a phone, and he'll eventually text sweet nothings to everyone he knows.
Thanks for the laughs and I hope you don't have my number!

It's pretty clear how it could lead to problems, but with anything that goes on in this business, it pretty much depends on:
1)Context
2)The sort of relationship the two parties have
And
3)The maturity level of the two parties (in a hobby sense).
Mostly 2 & 3, but still a whole lot of 1. And since the issue is being discussed somewhat in another thread currently, i would add that the same would go for, i imagine, the idea of revealing your personal identity/info to each other. With less of #1, of course.

Hmmm...I tell (verbally and via text) some of my ATFs that I love them all the time...in a complimentary, you're an awesome person kind of way, not in the creepy, overly forlorn romantic kind of way. They get it and typically respond in kind. We both know what we mean. Context is everything

Is this hobby malfeasance all that common for providers to engage hobbyists?
I would imagine a provider who is looking to "play" someone may be asking for more trouble than it's worth.

I hear this all the time from clients but never say it to a anyone unless I mean it.
NB don't take anything personal or blow up things where it's unneeded. I have made that mistake many times!!
No need to be bitter if you believe you are in an environment or seeing certain ladies that deceive you for fun by all means get out!! But the other way is what I choose . . .we are all allowed to love and be loved in any context we wish . . .yeah even here
