Jammin out
Just curious what everyone listens to? Anything in particular that just makes your day? I have always been intrested in finding new music.. I am always looking! So please, tell me what you love!! I have been jammin to St paul and the broken bones, Nathaniel Ratliff and the night sweats, and Allen Stone today.. if you havent heard any of these, you should do so. They are amazing.

Somehow I missed this thread...sorry Sophia.
Of course Hendrix along with Alice Cooper, ZZTop, Metallica, Karma to Burn, SRV... nice, loud guitars!

Hmmm, like RL, I missed it too. I find that happens once in a while.
I'm old, so I have some antique tastes, compared to yours, Sophia. My latest purchases are both ballets - Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliette. But I have a lot of Hendrix, Joplin, Stevie Ray, Omar and the Howlers, Blues Traveller, Kingston Trio...the list goes on and on...Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf...Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Rush...Herby Mann, Paul Winter.... I think you get the idea.

I'd still prefer the music you and I make together Sophia. Wish we could again and soon.

What I jam to really depends on my mood and if I'm on the bike. Lindsay Sterling doesn't do well on a Harley.. lol! My go-to's are SRV, old Chicago, Triumph, Blue Oyster Cult, Journey, Orleans, RHCP, Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Halestorm, Alter Bridge, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Etta James... just to name a few.

My taste in music are wide and varied but my mainstays are Zeppelin, Hendrix, Stones and most any classic rock or southern rock like the allman brothers black crowes govt mule lynyrd skynyrd north mississippi allstars but I also dig outlaw country and hair metal and lots of singer songwriter guys like Dylan Neil Young Stephen Stills CSN and so many others. This week I have been on a Velvet Underground kick for some reason. I love that newer radios play audio from a usb port. It lets me keep hundreds of albums on a single thumb drive and jump from ac/dc to zz top and everything in between.

I am so pleased to get so many responses.
I almost forgot that I posted this.. haha.
Sounds like most of you listen to what I listen to. How exciting!! I grew up listening to all of that.. my mother was super cool like that.
And Basscat.. I have never listened to Velvet underground, so i def will check that out. I listen to music through Amazon and I find everything I love to listen to on my phone and on to Alexa.

Wow, too many to list! Hendrix, of course, AC/DC, CCR, Foo Fighters. If I'm feeling a bit of a psychedelic mood, the Doors and later 60's Beatles.

I like most of Postmodern Jukebox's stuff, fun twists on songs.
