It's really expensive out there... housing, food, gas. The S.O. and I moved to KC from Cali about a year ago, best decision we ever made.

Friend of mine moved to the bay area about 2 years ago, he hates it for more reasons than I can list. Cost and traffic seem to be his biggest complaints though.

and take short trips to different places.
that's my best idea. and it would be fun.

AWSOME reply! I have traveled and lived several different places.I alos had a relative (now in Heaven) that lived in Cali.I have been there MANY times and loved the friends and fun etc. But NOt to live.The cost of living so far is been real good to stay where I have been for some time now and travel back and forth.Then when ya come home you had,fun,made money if touring in hobby,may want to come back and have your place to chill afford to do more and not have made a huge step that may or may not be a set back.One big leap can cost alot and then to get back up and start over is not always that easy....I have learned that lesson for real!
