Well face it, Obama has done everything in his power to piss off the left wing of the Democratic Party. I always said that I wish he had a primary opponent from the left. They would have had substantial support. He's a moderate triangulator, just like Clinton. He's just not as good at it as Clinton was.

if he's trying to be a centrist like Clinton, he's really bad at it and he's doing it very late in the game with his latest "consolidation" plan.
