Cyber-Stalking....

I know that all words have degrees of severity and sometimes even interpretation. My question is two fold. What is the board policy on and interpretation of the cyber- stalking, and to the individual members, what do you consider cyber-stalking? Since it can be so subjective I'd like to get mod/admin feedback on exactly what that means (here, not in general).

If you are talking about offensive words, I was pointed for saying Krill.
I hear that "concurrently" is the new krill....

Me I consider that insults and/or rudeness, which has it's own guideline. I am only referring to "cyber-stalking".

This may include persistent PMing of the other party, repeated ISOs about the other party, or excessive bumping of reviews or posting in threads about the other individual, whether it be positive or negative information posted. In any of these cases, whether staff deems that the behavior has crossed the line into cyber-stalking, or the "stalked" party complains to staff about the alleged behavior, staff will take the necessary steps to make it stop. Please avoid becoming involved in this type of conduct.

You asked about "words". I told you about some words.
Are any of those three words offensive or insulting to you?
If so, which ones and why?

I asked about the word cyber stalking. Not any other random word.. or "words" as you put it.

Those three words may be insulting to someone, depending on who was saying it and in what context, just like any other word. Do I personally find them offensive? No. But that does not mean someone else doesn't have the right to.





Now, do you have any insight on what is considered cyber-stalking? I would love to hear your input on the subject. I do not think that the sentence "whether it be positive or negative information posted" was put in guideline 17 by accident, so the offensiveness of any given words is cited as an independent issue from cyber-stalking according to the guidelines ( as a notation, those are covered in guidelines 1-4).

I personally feel that the cyber stalking that goes on in upstate is out of control and down right creepy. Why do I have stalkers that I've never seen and have refused to see commenting on my reviews?
I can completely understand why there are so many lurkers, ladies that only post ads, and Gents that prefer paying to use other sites or risking it on bp. I've referred 40+ gents to Indys and so many on datecheck that I lost count before it went down hill.....I've referred maybe 5 people off the top of my head to eccie in the last 3 years. Why would I recommend people join this cluster fuck?

label anything

if you go through this life and you need to constantly run to find someone to fight your battles

and take your hand through life

just because some WORDS didn't go your way to fit your perception


your not truly going to ever be great ..

This is not about censorship, I never believed in that at all. If you don't believe in freedom of expression for people you despise, you don't believe in it at all. No one said that freedom was free though.

Does cyber stalking include a "woman" who when, her phone number is blocked, creates another and calls and texts on that?
And when that gets blocked too, she creates yet another and another and another? Even though she's been told many times to NOT call or text again.

Yes, that is real world stalking though, not board stalking. If she is a member here, compile your info and report it to mods. They may, or may not, be able to help.
