hanging out in Dallas, what's a good spot for some good food? I've been craving a good soup lol I know weird

Soup, you might try El Ranchito on Jefferson for a bowl of caldo de res.
La Madeline has a pretty good Tomato basil soup.
Olive Garden - pasta e fagioli soup


I prefer home made, but those I find I liked because of hot tortillas served with the caldo, bread to soak up the tomato, and garlic breadsticks with the pasta e fagioli.

When I get in the mood for soup I think Thai.

In Addison down the street from my favorite Hobby Hotel is Sabaidee Thai/Lao Dishes.

If you like spicy soup that's the place but most Thai places have good soup based dishes.
