Supreme Court ballot judgement
The really scary part is what will the Trump cult members do if the Supreme Court judges Trump should not be permitted on state ballots if states decide that would be inappropriate.

I would go to sleep just as well. The chances of SC saying that are less than zero. They base their rulings on a lil thing called the Constitution

the amusing part is watching what the Dems and some state level Republicans do when the Supreme Court correctly rules that political animus alone is not grounds to bar Trump from running.
ya thnik they'll burn some stuff down in protest?

Less than zero? The Constitution says dumpster is a criminal. Who wants a seditionist and convicted rapist, lying thief and outlaw to be in charge of executing the law. Only the lawless brainwashed want him to be elected.
So the brainwashed dumptards can continue to be programmed. HRC was right. They need to be deprogrammed.

It's breaking the law that will keep him from the ballot. Unless he bought and paid for a Conservative SCOTUS. Which we all know can be bought; even if on credit.
I should be president! President 9500.
When, boy, when . . .
are you gonna get your act TOGETHER!?

note to precious b ... how do you rate the bias of ABC? or CNN?
bahahahaaaaaa
https://abc7chicago.com/can-trump-ru...ates/13587936/
WASHINGTON -- Donald Trump has been indicted on federal charges related to 2020 election subversion, a stunning third time this year that the former president has faced criminal charges.
But could the former president, who remains the front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, assume the Oval Office again if convicted of the alleged crimes? In short, yes.
University of California, Los Angeles law professor Richard L. Hasen - one of the country's leading experts on election law - said Trump still has a path to serving as president should he win reelection in 2024.
"The Constitution has very few requirements to serve as President, such as being at least 35 years of age. It does not bar anyone indicted, or convicted, or even serving jail time, from running as president and winning the presidency," he said in an email to CNN.

Looks like the appeals court is gonna tell Trump's attorneys to fuck off on their harebrained immunity motion.

reminder@twk: you already know. Seems you share a quality that the top demo/repub candidate for office have that people on this site belittle.
Glad to see you recognize ABC as having more viewers than foxy in all its outlets. And no reports from ABC head that they push lies. You showing progress. Just a little. But some.

reminder@Precious_b i said no such thing.
and that link to an ABC affiliate was so you can't refute it, yeah? i mean, do ya think i just plucked that outta the interwebs? actually i did but that's fun part, yeah?
and what does this have to do with the eventual Supreme Court ruling that Lord Trump may indeed run and regain his regal throne?
bahahahaa
here's another "opinion" by the WaPo. i bet this liberal hack burned his fingertips having to write this ...
Is a convicted felon legally permitted to run for president?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...for-president/
The constitutional qualifications for being president are being a natural-born U.S. citizen, a resident for at least 14 years and over the age of 35. A person can be disqualified by conviction in a Senate impeachment trial, but a criminal conviction does not affect eligibility.
CASE ... DISMISSED!
bahahhaaaaa

Yes, and furthermore, the conservative majority tend to be textualists. That is to say, whether it is The Constitution or a statute law, they will go by what the text of a law says when it's meaning is explicit and plainly written.

WRONG, that is the lie told by political enemies. No formal charges.
Plus, the 14th amendment requires the House of Representatives, not individual states to take names off the ballot for insurrection.
