There's no "takeover." The Democratic Socialists have been on this path since Obama's first term. The "traditional" Dems haven't had the courage to speak up. If they did, they would have been labeled racists, homophobe, Islamaphobe, Christian, or whatever the PC dictated.

The problem now is the old guard is displaced but more importantly they have lost their donors. "Mike" can fix that but only temporarily. Perez will be gone soon unless he can find a way to surreptitiously screw Bernie.

The only way to screw Bernie is hope that he doesn't get 1991 delegates going into the convention. If Bernie can't win on the first ballot, the DNC could very well steal it from Bernie and we might have 1968 Chicago all over again.

I was only about Ten Years old in 1968. I remember watching footage of the Chicago Police kicking that ass outside the convention. My parents were startled by the mayhem. They couldn't believe something like that could happen. Chicago Police did a great job showing those asswipes what time it was. I wonder if history will repeat itself.
