I'm a 31 year old male, and get boners all the time. But not after I've been drinking. Alcohol has a major effect on my libido for the rest of the evening.

My question is: Does Viagra help you get a boner after you've been drinking?

Guess I'll have to try it for myself...

It may not work as well, as alcohol reduces blood to the penis & ED pills increase blood flow. So, they are working against each other.

A bigger problem may be blood pressure. Both, alcohol & ED meds, lower blood pressure. So, you could get dizzy or lethargic, which could affect performance.

Most ED docs will tell you a little alcohol, a few drinks, should have little or no effect. But, almost all recommend minimal or no alcohol.

So, have a glass of wine or a beer, instead of the hard stuff.

Did you really mean to say libido? That indicates a lack of sexual desire or interest. If that's your problem then the ED meds won't do anything to fix it. They won't function without desire and stimulation. OTOH, if what you really meant was that the interest is there but the function is weak, then you may have a chance. But, pay attention to the cautions above.

Answer is no. If your problem is catching wood in the first place then pills won’t help you much. On the other hand, if you get hard but can’t stay hard maybe there is a little more hope. Either way, if your mind isn’t in it because of your drunken state then the pills won’t do much for ya. Just my 2 cents, been there done that.

At your age alcohol might not be the problem. Are you fat too? How often you exercise?
In any case, you would need to go to a doctor for viagra, so i would go anyway and get a physical, just in case.
