Obama's Next War: Will You Still Vote For Him?
Within a week the POSITOO has sabotaged a major effort to bring oil into the US from an allie and now sends our ships into harms way through the strait of Hormuz to protect the flow of oil from our ideological enemies to other countries.
While a great deal of oil goes through the straits, very, very little (if any) of it comes to the US. Just like Libya where the POSITOO and Hildabeast decided to spend $100M a day to protect the oil supply of Europe.
This really puts things into perspective. We have a large military footprint in the middle east because it's strategic to us, but it's strategic to us largely because envirowhackos won't let us take full advantage of oil resources much closer to home.
So boys and girls on the left. Your POSITOO has already killed for oil once, are you still going to vote for him when he gets a bunch of people killed over the strait of Hormuz?

The Straits of Hormuz are international waters and thus we have the right to transit them. We may not get much oil from the Gulf but we have a major base there now in Bahrain for the 5th Fleet. So we do have an interest in keeping the straits open.

Understood, but that was not the question. Will those who wailed about "blood for oil" before vote for the POSITOO if he sends people to their deaths over this?

First, it's your position that we should let the Iranians dictate who gets to navigate in international waters? Our navy has been sailing the strait for decades. We should turn tail and run because some tin-can navy under the control of President Ahmadyabbadabbadoo says we can't be there anymore? You must hate America.
Second, if any the current crop of GOP clowns/presidential hopefuls were in office now (with the exception of Ron Paul), you'd be whooping and hollering and waving your bloody flag about the airstrikes that would have already occurred along the Iranian coastline.
Third, no blood is going to get spilled over this issue unless the Iranians do something very very stupid and if they do, you're goddamn right I'll support our troops and President Obama when we respond.
What will you do?

So, since I asked the question specifically of the libs, I decided to take all of them off my ignore list.
Since Mr. Page refused to answer the question, I guess I'll start rebuilding the list now. I've gown impatient of people who avoid the discussion or just blatantly say stupid shit.
Thanks for playing Tim, you're everything I've learned to expect from the left, issue avoidance, guilt projection and mind reading.
Your dismissed.

Laugh at the far left while they cringe as yet another hypocritical-layer of their pretentious, moral superiority melts away in the harsh light of Realpolitiks.

Not one of these air-headed, anti-Obama clowns said a word when Obama, gave the orders to rescue the U.S. Ship captain and the freighter held by pirates in the waters off Somalia.
Hell, it even sounds like they would complain if we did anything to stop someone trying to close the Panama Canal or the Suez Canal.
Another Anti-Obama "when do you intend to stop beating your wife" question.
Nicely-worded, Iaintliein.

Oh, since I refused to play your silly game, you're packing up your toys and going home? I did answer your silly little self-serving question that you thought was so clever.....just not in a way that you expected or liked very much. You keep telling yourself how smart you are...nobody else will.
Now, I'll go back to being ignored.

Wait! Shouldn't that be "you're" dismissed? Oh, never mind. You're another Republican who isn't bothered by poor spelling or inaccurate statements. Even your username proves my point. "Liein"? LMAO!

First of all, Obama gave no such order, in fact, he did everything he could to prevent the Navy doing anything other than wait for the FBI. So yes, several of us were talking about it at the time actually.

Now, go play nice with Timmy.

Aw yes, another non reply, this time from the self proclaimed, "moderate" who's never had a kind word for a conservative nor anything but for the POSITOO.
Thanks, I'd forgotten about you!

the pipeline would only add around 6000 temp jobs and have very little effect on the overall economy (most of which would be from the sectors already employed oil workers) OR the price of oil on the world market ... without the refineries to handle the "new oil", 40 new pipelines are moot ... Iran is sabre rattling. No more no less.

I would hope that who ever occupied the Oval Office would be willing to use the Military Might of the United States to counter any actions by Iran.
It sort of puzzles me when people say "we went to war over oil".
In my opinion, that's a pretty good reason.
