There are many reasons why we all get into the hobby. My reason is a general inability to get there the "normal" way and being picky. This really sucks, or rather not, when my budget is seeing less action than I am, though I must say my wallet gets a lot of ass but that's from me sitting on it.

The questions are thus:

Comrades, what works for you? And where in South Fort Worth are good places to prowl?

I got into this shit partially because I'm invisible to hot 20-year olds. What other way to get to them outside of driving a Porsche? Trying to hit on them just makes you that 'old, creepy dude'.

The above mentioned is all great advice. I've read the game, had a wing woman, and tried not to be creepy.
The best advice is confidence. Hit the gym 3-4 times a week for just an hour, get some nice clothes (nothing over the top), use lightly scented "manly" body lotion, and you will feel great about yourself. When you feel good, you look good. You will then get that confidence needed.
If I want to pick up a woman, I go to a nice happy hour type place and sit at the bar near a woman that would interest me. I'll order some off the wall drink and start a conversation with the bartender. I'll try to discuss something that might get her attention with the bartender; all while not paying any attention to her. 7 times out of 10 she will start talking to me. I just play it cool & not try to pick her up. Ask her questions about herself & get her talking about herself. The more she talks, the more you listen. Don't ask anything personal unless she brings it up. Order you another drink and if she's ready for another then offer to get her one. The rest is common since.

Always try & sit to their left. Left ear is connected to the right brain. Right brain has to do with their inhibitions.

Once I started hobbying, I've got a level of confidence I didn't have before. I'm reasonably good looking, married, have some money, but when I'm in the mood (say, while on a business trip), I didn't have any confidence and just knew I'd get shot down at a bar or disco. And quite frankly, I did.

But now, I have this "don't care" attitude because I know how to get laid via plan B, if plan A (hot chick in bar) fails. As a result, I'm a lot more successful with the civvie girls. The only downside to them, is that you really do need a burner phone, because some of them will want a "relationship"

The advice about sitting to their left is great! I'll have to try that in a few weeks when I go to Vegas.

Pick up "artistry" is passé. If it is a high priority for you to find someone who you desire and are compatible with, then game playing doesn't seem like an ideal approach. And women are often highly perceptive to the types of games men try to play. One of the first steps is falling back from P4P sites...

Good reference, but it isn't for everyone. For someone like me (and probably the OP), it entails changing who you are and how you treat ladies.
