Has Any Ladies Ever Tried Being A Webcam Model?

Today for some reason I have been getting alot of webcam model popups or advertisements on other sites.I was wondering if any ladies have ever tried this avenue and how did this experience work for you? I tried it once when I was younger but guessing I didnt put enough time into it because I made no where near the amount of money that the sites claim people make.

Are you sure about this? Care to elaborate? Even the Top cam models I know making over 7k a month (rare but possible) would giggle at this comment.

I was a webcam model for over 3 years and I find this statement very misleading. I don't know how much money you make escorting but if it's under 3k a month then you may be on to something.

As a companion I make way more money than I did camming and I make now more money than most webcam models I know (..I made a lot of money camming)

Keep in mind that while webcamming has its pros it also have lots of CONS.

For one : You can easily be recorded. I had a friend that had her indy show recorded only to be posted on that "homegrownfreaks" website.

Camming is not an easy job and anyone that says it is easy is lying.
Just like with any business it is all about how you market and present yourself
just like escorting. I honestly don't knw how one could think camming is way more
profitable...it's not especially in this economy.

Webcamming is a great job for stay at home moms, women that don't want the hassle of a 9-5 ... it CAN be lucrative but to think you can just get online and money falls on your lap is ridiculous. The more work you put in the more you make. With camming you're competing with 393793797397239729372937927937 2 girls that are already online and you can only do so much with marketing but with escorting you're not competing with as much (depending on where you live) and it's a lot easier to .... sell time

Yes when I tried webcam it wasnt very successful at all. To many girls on I was thinking it was just the sites that I had tried. Which were top10playmates and myfreecam.com. Both have you on multiple sites at once but it just seemed like alot for a little bit of money so I also say that being a companion is more profitable and also more fun

Top10playmates is a studio honey so they were probably ripping you off. Studios are like pimps you sign up through them and they take a cut ontop of what the sites already take off. ONLINE for a long time to make a decent income (depends on the day) For all that I want a mansion!! Just imagine years from now someone can easily find your cam feed, videos and pics... that remains online forever. As an escort we don't have to deal with that unless you have pictures of your face plastered online.

Don't get me wrong my days as a webcam model/independent webcam model was fun and profitable (I was making bank when all my civie friends complained about money) but it also made me a hermit.. lol! There is money to make as a camgirl but get ready to work your ass off, work super hard to get and KEEP regs.

Though escorting is full contact it is ALOT easier for me and of course a lot less stressful.

Hmm didnt know that about top10...But myfreecams was also an okay site, But I got the feeling that to make good money you have to be up there 24/7. My first pay period I made 1,000 but I put in alot of hours after that I kind of lost interest so my second pay period was about 400. Then the most surprising thing that happened I ran into someone who knew me up there so that was the end of that

Well, of course it isn't EASY, but between working with 4 different sites, and "personal camming" with clients for a flat fee, it has, FOR ME, brought me more income.... It would be a little different if i were a traveling entertainer, that advertised all the time. But I don't, being that school and mommying tie me here, to my home base and I am highly selective of any new clients I see. I do think it is a great way to supplement income, and can be as profitable as you allow it. I must say, splitcam, was a great help once another cam friend made me aware pf it. Commissions from inviting other entertainers and clients, as well as being an affiliate help too. glad to know it pays off for you ladies. i often used to visit some sites and watch but i find looking at pic a lot easier on the pocket book...and when i need my fix.....to the local SC or ATF of my choice. But i agree on the safer alternative to making money.
