A great discussion with one of my fellow work colleagues today, who is 24 yrs old (a baby in my book) tells me he is burned on sex with girls because he watches to much porn and can't have satisfying sex because he is visually over stimulated.. He is a buff hot, handsome young man,, and has sought out being bi-curious because he says sex with men or tranny's is easier than being with a woman.. He tells me he has gone to the darks side and watch really nasty stuff which I will not elaborate on.. Deep enough to want me to take him under my Tantric wing.

I chatted with him a few days ago about Tantra and how it is sexually healing and deals with trauma being; sexual addiction, death, divorce etc... Today we chatted about some more Tantra and in particular Male Sacred Spot (prostate massage) and Female Ejaculation,, how to DATY and such.. Omgosh,, I guess my old school is coming back.. There is different levels of sex addiction. First it's porn, then prostitutes, then that gets boring then gang bangs, then off the deep end of stupidity. Brown showers, homosexuality, (things I can't mention here) etc. It goes on and on till it's out of control. A ordinary woman can't get them off, she isn't nearly enough! Usually when they fall into another realm they can care less about protection because they are to far gone! Bi-curious, bi-sexual, and homosexual are all completely different and are not necessarily indicative of someone who has "burned out" his sensual senses. Let's shove that aside.

Porn addiction, however, is real. I have dealt with that regarding a handful of gentlemen who have come to visit me, a couple of whom I saw for about 6 months. One HAD to be watching porn to get off, and the other couldn't unless each time I added something wilder, more unusual, kinkier. I finally said no more to both as they were getting to be too much of an "ordeal" for me.

Over-stimulation and lack of sensitivity can be major issues. Takes more and more to get to the top of the stairs, so to speak, and tends to go, er, hand in hand with habitually rough masturbation. It becomes difficult for a woman either manually, orally, or vaginally to duplicate the "grip" and "speed" that a fellow has become used to without becoming completely exhausted herself. (Heck, I have to take a break from my vibrator every so often, sometimes even during an hour-long "voyeur" session. If you are in tune with your body, you'll know when to back off, breath, relax, and restart.) Too too much of anything spoils you and makes you less appreciative, so step back occasionally.

As I understand at least one aspect of Tantra, the focus goes inward, not outward. (No blinking screens, as Bella said.) Some techniques, I believe, involve raising and lowering the level of stimulation (something I alluded to above), bringing someone to the peak until they almost teeter over, then pulling them back, building up again, back down, up and up finally to a blast-off orgasm. It can be VERY intense. I know Tantra has been used to help those with TOO much sensitivity resulting in premature ejaculation problems, so I'm sure it could be advantageous for those who have lost sensitivity.

However, I think this guy's numbness is caused by a lot more than porn.

Like Amy, I think I prefer vanilla with "sprinkles" but I don't think there is necessarily a progression from porn to prostitutes to hanging off the chandelier at an orgy. Many of the fellows who visit me have had little or no exposure to porn, and sure, while they, er, come for satisfaction, it may not be solely SEXUAL satisfaction. Companionship and a non-judgmental, sympathetic woman (who, admittedly, can suck like a Hoover) are important to some gentlemen. It's a form of total therapy, mind and body.
