RFK Jr assassination attempt
Robert F. Kennedy Jr was nearly assassinated today.
Why has Joey Bribes denied him Secret Service protection?

The Secret Service website says that "major presidential and vice presidential candidates and their spouses within 120 days of a general presidential election" are entitled to their protection, with the Secretary of Homeland Security determining who qualifies as "major."
He's not entitled nor is anyone to have protection 14 months out.

It's pretty simple he does not currently quality and is running against an incumbent President. He needs to declare as an Independent ruffle some more feathers.
As for security he has raised plenty of money so good security is not something RFK should find it too difficult to provide for himself at this point.
Scary thought... Trump wins the Republican nomination but refuses to bring one of his competitors along as VP but chooses RFK as running mate looking increase his voter base. The more I think about it the more it sounds like a twisted but potentially big move for Trump

it was RFK Jr's private security detail that spotted this guy, who was impersonating a Marshall.
RFK Jr wants to be a democrat president but the DNC won't allow it. if he runs as an independent to fuck over the DNC he hands the election to Donald Trump. RFK Jr only needs 5 percent to 10 percent most of which will be Democrats and Indy's none of which would vote for Trump.
that's too many lost votes for the DNC to steal.

... AND for Robert Kennedy - because Trump may decide
to onley serve as President again for two years or so -
and then turn the Presidency over to his VP.
Who then would have the upper hand for the 2028 election
- as the Incumbent.
Not a bad plan that you and I 'ave put together there, mate.

... 'Course also - this "assassination attempt" might just
be a ruse - surely created by the Democrat party - in a
clever attempt to garner sympathy for Kennedy.
As they move-away from Biden as their candidate and
surely latch onto Kennedy and point their voters to him.
But please forget that I posted the idea.
There's no way that the Dems and the corrupt
Deep State would ever stoop THAT low. ... IS there??

While that may be the technical standard, in practice Presidential Candidates polling like RFK Jr is have been provided secret service protection much more than 120 days in advance
The only reason RFK Jr doesn't have it is out of spite by Senile Biden

Polling like RFK? I will look it up at some point but at this moment am failing to recall a time where someone seeking to unseat an incumbent President got Secret Service protection 14 months out much less with numbers showing close to 70% choosing Biden and less than 15% for RFK.
He hasn't raised nearly enough money to mount a legit campaign and is seen as an outsider.
Does not qualify. Period.

I saw some posts he's lost about 3 percent in polls fromm his high in the summer.
And only true contenders get protection. And not over a year out.

Then-candidate Donald Trump received Secret Service protection almost one year prior to the 2016 general election, after being approved in 2015, along with fellow GOP contender Ben Carson, in the lead-up to the Iowa caucuses. In 2020, now-President Joe Biden said that candidates should receive protection earlier than normal, after a protester rushed the stage at an event and his wife ran toward them in defense of her husband.
Barack Obama received Secret Service protection in May 2007 almost 2 years before the general election

Kinda of shoots down Mr Ninja and WD’s take. Taking the Kennedy’s past history with assassinations, Joey Bribes should have extended the courtesy. After all, they’re both Democrats. Or are they?

Nah bambino not even a lil bit. Trump was running for an open seat and considered the front-runner when he got approval in Nov 2015. This is Sept and the odds of RFK being the Dem nominee are about zero. But hey for those who seek to be mad at Biden for the sun shining during daylight hours feel free to continue the whine fest.

Trumps odds in 2015 were about zero too. Spin if you must Mr Ninja. Biden could grant Kennedy security with a phone call. Kennedy requested and was denied.
But hey, people can hate Trump for the sun shining during daylight hours.

Simply incorrect. You can try to spin and stretch the truth but it literally takes 30 seconds to fact check. In Nov of 2015 when Secret Service protection was approved for Trump and Ben Carson they were essentially tied for first place in the polls. This is not my opinion it is a fact.
RFK is seeking to unseat an incumbent President currently running for re-election. How does that compare with 2015 in any real way?
