Construction components are already being delivered.

However, he seems totally inept at math. He sold off ~$300Million worth of left over construction materials for about $2Million. Likely he will have to pay $400Million to replace the materials due to Bidenomics and sky rocketing costs. That results in paying ~$702Million for a fence that was already paid for,

I have never had a problem with building the wall although how effective it would be is up for debate. I just wanted Congress to pass funding for it. The main area where Republicans can hit Biden is on immigration. If over the next 12 months Biden can stem the flow of illegals crossing the border his odds of reelection increase dramatically.

A larger issue than the hypocrisy is the way he "waved" 23 federal laws to get it startyed.

Wait . . .WHAT? He waived laws"?

How does a President dismiss a federal Law? Is it merely overlooked by everyone, or is there a process where the President can declare a law to be inoperative or invalid?

I thought that only the Supreme Court could declare a law to be invalid.

If this is in fact possible, then there is no point to having a legislative branch at all. Any law could be rescinded by the Executive branch. Any provision of Th Constitution could be abrogated . . .even \The Bill Of Rights could be at risk.

... President Biden is the REASON for the GREAT NUMBER
of illegals crossing... Where you been??

... So now - you want him to finish the wall
and stop the flow, just to help his re-election chances?

... How Sad.

So you are saying that the Biden should protect the country, but only if it will get him reelected?!? Could just be me, but I would think he should just do it because it is his sworn duty to protect the country. Pretty sure there is that awkward clause to protect from all enemies, both foreign or domestic somewhere along the way.

That is not what I said in any way. I don't care if the wall is finished or not. Most believe it will not stem the flow of illegal immigrants crossing the border in any significant way.

Illegal immigration is not the primary issue on the minds of voters. It ranks sometimes as high as 3rd in some polls and usually lower in most polls. But it is the one area in which Biden can be faulted. I am saying that if Biden can enact policy that reduces illegal immigration in a significant way that his chances for reelection increase dramatically.

As with Salty your conclusions are incorrect. Biden should enact policies to stem the flow of illegal immigration into this country. If he can do this one of the major objections voters have against Biden will be lessened.

We could ask Jim Jordan the same thing; he's failed to appear for a subpoena for over 600 plus days and counting I believe on the Jan 6th, committee.

The point is that politicians don't follow or enforce laws or rules from either side. The ethics required to be in Congress, area thing of the past; now they are null and void. That's for Dems or Reps. Lets not cherry-pick here.

My conclusion is that there are already laws on the books to stem the flow of illegal immigration into this country. Why not enforce them, regardless if it does or does not help your reelection?

Democrats have never understood the concept of duty.
