It appears either way all new hobbyists need to see a few newbie friendly providers and if he receives good references he now has the magic coin that opens the next level, if he chooses to go there.

The process flow appears the same no matter what from what I have read, so what is the advantage to a provider in me getting P411 verified, leading to what benefits to me as a hobbyist to make it worthwhile to get P411 verified?

Does anything in my first paragraph change with P411 verification?

Newbie friendly doesn't inherently mean no screening. Be sure to check the requirements of each companion you'd like to visit.

OP ... IMO, getting p411 as a newbie really has NO ADVANTAGE. However, I have found it much easier to make future dates after I had 5+ OKs on p411 from Playmates who had seen me. I now have 30+ OKs. I cannot remember the last time I actually gave a new Playmate any references. On p411, I have a well written out profile that tells the ladies about me, my likes, and my desires. I make sure that I do not contact a lady who can't meet those desires. For example, I am BBBJ only. So I will not contact a playmate who is CBJ. I also show in my profile that I desire my new Playmate to contact my last 4 OKs to find out more about me as well.

Now? Do they contact them? I honestly haven't a clue! But I can tell you that I haven't actually provided contact information in probably 16 months and I have only been hobbying for 21 months.

I got my P411 started in my first month of hobbying.....my first two providers required the additional screening even tho I had the p411 account.
But since then I ONLY see p411 providers and use that as the verification process....never had a P411 provider question my bonafides.
Some ladies will not get on p411 for whatever reason, but I'm a bit skeptical of those who choose NOT to be on p411....
It has worked well for me...

I can say from a hobbyist standpoint that it has helped me. I thought much like you did when I jumped back on board 2 weeks ago. I put out an ISO and a couple of PM's but selection for a "newbie" seemed too limited for my taste, I like options. I decided to pony up for p411and viola! "Magic coin" granted! Yes, you are still a newbie but you've taken the hard part out of getting verified. The selection got much better, many more responses from more reputable providers. Making arrangements is also much easier. Her reference requirements are clearly listed. If you like what you see, you meet minimum requirements, send an appointment request and done. You wait for a response, so far mine have been within minutes. They are required to respond in a timely fashion. Give it a shot, see the difference, it only a bill to sign up........Just my 2 pennies......

P411 , gives providers the # of oks , To be on 411 you need 3 , so for 98% of providers your good to go without any other questions

P411 has been the key to fairly seemless arrangements with excellent ladies all over the US. I travel a lot and have never had a problem with verification.
I don't think I've ever seen a provider that wasn't on it either.
It's a great resource for finding ladies. And for finding which boards they have reviews on,because Eccie is very regional.

To me it is the best resource in the hobby.

I would say joining p411 would really help you out a little but yes you may have to go thru some screening until you get enough okays

I can definitely understand you on that. I used to have p411 (still do in a sense, since all I have to do is renew it). That's real world info sitting there. Sure, they give you the spiel about how secure it is, but who's stopping these super hackers from doing it? With a cyber connection, country borders mean jack schitt now.

I also get the money making part of it (from their perspective), but if you're not regularly hobbying, is it worth it to spend $$ on fees staying current? I don't wan to pay for it or 3 or 6 months or a year and only end up needing it for one or two ladies.

I used to think being a longstanding member on this board used to mean something. Apparently it doesn't, because I keep seeing a ton of ladies asking for references.

I am in a similar situation. I saw my first provider in 2006 and my last one in 2014. I met a girl, had a relationship for a couple of years and things ended. Now all the providers I knew except one have disappeared or moved on to other things. I never had a P411 account before but I recently got one to see if it my help me expedite the process or seeing someone.

When I signed up several years ago I gave them whatever info they asked for. I was (and still am) single and semi-retired so I really had not much to lose and I didn't really worry about it. But I found that they handled the confirmation very professionally. I gave them a scenario like this: call my boss's secretary and say you are calling from a well-known charitable organization that I am known to be associated with. They followed the script to the letter and the secretary passed the message along to me and never gave it a second thought. I had another interaction with their staff when I needed to make a modification to my account profile, and it was also handled thoroughly and professionally.

Do they really destroy your RW info when no longer needed, or else keep it secure? I don't know, you can never be sure. But in this hobby you are taking chances. My guess, based on my experience, is that if you're going to get in trouble it will more likely be due to your own slip-up than to problems from P411. Of course, no guarantees. That's just IMHO.

From a security standpoint, if you are at all concerned about it, I would not do it. The simple fact is, your data is vulnerable if it's networked...which obviously the DB has to be in order for you to login. Now, sure they'll argue and say it's secure, encrypted etc... but the simple fact is that NOTHING networked is secure. There are patches every month from Microsoft that fix security bugs...Every month. What you need to assess is the probability vs. risk factor. Is the probability of a P411 data breach high? I'd say no... but it is a potentially lucrative attack from a blackmail standpoint... so it's not low like the local knitting clubs website. What is the risk to you if it was breached? I think it would be pretty high, especially if you're married.

People are really blase about personal network security because you're a needle in the worlds largest haystack... but that haystack is really divided up into smaller bundles that you're a larger portion of. It's still not probable that you'll get exposed. But it is possible. If corporations like Target, IBM, and Amazon, that have huge security budgets can get breached so can P411. It's just reality. I mean how many of you are using the same passwords here as you do at other sites?
