Default Some Texans Have Prepared a Petition to Secede from the USA

You know, I loved the time I lived in Ft. Worth. Might be time to move back.

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:

Peacefully grant the State of Texas to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government.

The US continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the federal government's neglect to reform domestic and foreign spending. The citizens of the US suffer from blatant abuses of their rights such as the NDAA, the TSA, etc. Given that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect it's citizens' standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are no longer being reflected by the federal government.

Sign the petition here:

I might be a little hesitant signing the petition even though I know it would be for the best.

You have to create an account with the feds to do it ??

152 years ago a bunch of dumb southerners decided they could not live by majority rules any longer, because the majority was trending towards taking away their power (not their right, their power) to steal the lives of other human beings that had darker skin than theirs.

They only cared about majority rules as long as the majority went their way. I see some people in the south still think that way. Stupid and tragic.

Listen! Off in the distance, I can hear the Rednecks a singin' Dixie. Could Ks, Ok, Ark, Ms, 'Bama, Ga, SC, Tn, Ky and WV be far behind?

ALL TOGETHER NOW:

Oh, I wish I was in the land of cotton,
Old times there are not forgotten,
Look away, look away, look away Dixie Land.

In Dixie Land, where I was born in,
early on one frosty mornin',
Look away, look away, look away Dixie Land.

I wish I was in Dixie, Hooray! Hooray!
In Dixie Land I'll take my stand
to live and die in Dixie.

Away, away, away down south in Dixie.
Away, away, away down south in Dixie

The reality is that it will never happen, unfortunately.
Texas is probably the only state that could stand alone without the assistance of the other states, I mean the largess of the federal government.
The problem would be keeping the rest of them out and from coming here and fucking shit up like they have done in the rest of the nation.

I am a proud Texan. I love the freedoms that Texans seem to poccess.
But we do have our share of goof balls, and morons that dropped out of school before they took any History.

Texas did have an agreement when they first entered the Union that under certain circumstances they could become their own Republic again.

The only problem is, all of the originol treaties were made null and void when Texas left the Union during the War Between The States, and re-entered the Union as a defeated foe.

Of course, any State can vote to leave the Union if they so choose. The United States of America also has the right to invade them, kill every disloyal citizen that raises arms against the Union, and bring that State back into the fold.

The War Between The States left no doubt about that fact.

I am a proud Texan, but I am first and formost a proud American.

I would say secede and Fuck You! Here are the 300% tariffs on anything Texas produces. Oil? We'll get it from Canada. Technology? Silicon Valley still going strong. And all those military bases that bring income to Texas, we're moving them to New Mexico along with all our equipment. You want military equipment? Buy your own shit. In 5 years they'll be begging to re-join. The U.S. is not perfect, but Texas alone without all the investment from the Federal Government will become another Mexico.
