That is who I think will win, I would like to see Argo win though they took to much liberty with facts. I saw no great acting preformaces IMHO.

As an official member of the Chicken Little Tea Pot Society, I could see how Skyfall would appeal to you!

D'Jango
Les Miserables
The Life of PI
Silver Linings Playbook
Zero Dark Thirty
Lincoln
Beasts of the Southern Wild
Armor

Best Actor

Hugh Jackman (Les Miserables)
Daniel Day Lewis (Lincoln). I think that's a tough call, because Jackman and Cooper both deserve it.
Bradley Cooper (Silver Linings Playbook)
Denzel Washington (Flight)
Joaquin Phoenix (the Master)

Best Actress

Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty)
Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook) What a great performance as a fucked up biyatch. again, I think the little from Beasts was incredible as well.
Emmanuella Riva (Amor)
Quvenzhane' Wallis (The Beasts of the Southern Wild)
Naomi Watts (The Impossible)

Honorable Mention (your choice of a movie/actor/actress that maybe shouldn't win but was better than some of those that were nominated)

I also think it'll be a tight one between Christoph Waltz and Robert Deniro for supporting actor. Tommy Lee Jones also did a great job.

I selected Skyfall as an honorable mention because it was everything a movie is supposed to be. It was exciting, visually stimulating (did you see that sailing yacht?), told a good story, and the acting was very good. There is no requirement for a morality story or else Batman: The Dark Knight Rises would have been nominated. In fact, I will add that as another Honorable Mention for best picture. As for Skyfall; didn't you find it interesting how it all came together at the end. The car, the gun, the drink, M, Ms. Moneypenny. It all clicked together right then. Daniel Craig had come full circle, he was James Bond now.

We could go along with Whatzup but we already know that he has won....(if you would COG).

Sally Fields did an excellent job portraying Mary Todd Lincoln, but since many are unaware of Mary Todd Lincoln's eccentricities and excesses, Sally Fields will not receive proper credit for realistically portraying Mary.

"Skyfall" is the most successful James Bond movie ever. The first James Bond movie, "Dr No" was released forty one years ago. The appeal of the James Bond character seems to be perennial.
