Someone find the link to the story (go minions and do my bidding) about that white basketball team cheering USA USA USA to a Hispanic team.

These are two AMERICAN teams.

I saw this story this afternoon on fox with my parents. Their response was "what's the big deal." now here is where the moderate comes into play.... What's the big deal? Are you serious? How dare that team imply nationalist jargon like that. It was horrible. I'm so embarrassed for the whole situation.

That shit is wrong and has no place anywhere in this country of free men.

This happened here in San Antonio, the intial reports were that Edison who is primarily hispanic was chanting Alamo Whites (the high school is Alamo Height and is the most affluent part of San Antonio) at which point the a small part of the Alamo Heights crowd started chanting USA USA implying that the Edison crowd was illegals. Now while the Alamo Whites thing was reported on the radio news here locally I havent found it in print anywhere. But they had Alamo Heights students on tape saying that Edison was chanting Alamo Whites.

Uh - YEAH, common sense covers your disappointment in the "USA" chants and rightfully so. And with the extreme coarseness of how the dialogue of disagreement has become among adults along with the well documented use of soical media as a bullying tool by Middle Schoolers and up, it's a shame that there's no shock value in the chants. But (yep, there has to be one of those, Glenna), the crowd chanting "USA" sort of reminds me of birther nonsense, the President being a Muslim, and on and on and on.....every weak POS has to have a scapegoat. They learned it at home, deep in the heart of Texas. Their Mommas and Daddies need the bitch slapping. Of course, Glenna, you need to be careful. Someone's gonna accuse you of being a spy for the PCBI (Politically Correct Bureau of Investigation).

With regards to the chanters being "elitist," I think the smart money's on opting for good, old-fashioned racist, Prick Sanitarium notwithstanding.

Regardless of who started it, it lacks class on both sides, what bothers me is the holier than thou approach by the Edison staff who unlike the AH staff did nothing to stop the kids from what I have read.

Truth is, these two schools have had a long time rivalry. It simply manafested its self in a very crude fashion.

But it does show that we are breeding an entire new generation of intolerant haters. On both sides.

I am sure the Davis Dukes and Jesse Jacksons of the world are proud.
