Default An Open Letter To My Hobby Friends

Hi, lovers!

I just want to take a moment to apologize to everyone for not responding to messages like I should and not being as active on my OnlyFans lately. I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder several years ago and have been able to manage it fairly well without medication, but for the last couple of months, I just haven't been feeling like myself. I don't take interest in the things I used to enjoy, my self-esteem isn't where it used to be and I'm constantly feeling burnt out. To top it all off, I feel somewhat guilty for even being depressed because I do have a great life. I have a loving family, the best boyfriend a girl could ask for, a good real-world job with hilarious co-workers, and the most wonderful hobby friends around.

I don't want anyone to worry about me because I'll be fine. I just don't want people to think I'm purposely ignoring or avoiding them. Thank you so much to everyone who has been so patient with me lately and those who have taken the time to check on me. Your kindness does not go unnoticed. ❤

Thanks for the support everyone! It's truly amazing how many friends have taken the time to reach out to me to share their experiences with depression and wish me well. I feel that as a provider, discussing mental health can be somewhat taboo because we're supposed to be perfect all the time and keep everyone happy. I'm leary of anti-depressants, but I may look into them for the purpose of increasing my serotonin.

There should be no shame in seeking help for your mental health. I personally worked with a therapist for years who really helped me get on the right path again. I still take medication to keep me "regulated" for my anxiety. It is so great to feel normal again after many years where literally everything pissed me off or made me worry or just not feel comfortable.

I hope the best for you! It's been a long time but seeing you was one of my best experiences in the hobby

Sorry you have the symptoms. Depression is no laughing matter. I’ve known many people that Have had tremendous results with antidepressants. Nothing is perfect and there can be side effects but often if you switch from one antidepressant to another and find the right one for you, you can do much better. It sounds like it would be worth trying it antidepressant for a month because you could always stop it if it didn’t help and it could make a dramatic difference. If you are worried more than tired an SSRI will help. If you are tired more than worried, Wellbutrin that raises Serotonin and dopamine may be a better starting point.

Trazadone was the best for me. It really helped align my irregular sleep schedule by making me drowsy enough to go to bed at a normal time. And I didn’t notice any negative side effects at all. But everyone’s chemistry is different so you just need to find what works best for you.

I take that as well! That stuff WORKS! The script says 1 - 3 tabs /night but I made the mistake of taking 3 the first time. Drys out your mouth like you're sucking on sand.

I'll only take a half tab / night now and works. I have boat loads of that due to the dosage.

Knocks my ass out for sure.
