I'm at best a casual listener but have to admire the guy for fighting on through stage 4 cancer. Bully!

I'm not sure. it may have sounded like that.



He does usually take off 2 weeks from the radio show around this time. thats his christmas/new years vacation.


I hope that is not permanent given his cancer situation. his doctor said he'd be dead by december or something like that, he's still alive. i suspect the medication/chemotherapy he goes thru must be keeping the cancer at bay.



I used to listen to rush until my radio broke 2 years ago and haven't found a good replacement.

I was stationed in San Francisco at Treasure Island for school. I used to to my car for lunch and listen to the radio. One day I heard this guy broadcasting from Sacramento talking about Jesse Helms being an arch-conservative but nothing about Ted Kennedy being an arch-liberal. Conservatives bad, liberals good. I got to my new command a couple of months later. I was in the parking lot listening to the radio when I heard the same voice. I started banging on my dashboard with my fist and split it open...oops! I call myself a plank owner of the Limbaugh show.

this was in the early 1990's. there was a black contractor at work who had the radio on and rush was on. I asked her who was that on the radio. she said it was rush limbaugh.


I was shocked that a black person would listen to a conservative. lol.

Even back when I was a solid Republican voter (1968-2007) I laughed at the content of Rush Limbaugh's commentaries. They were so off-the-wall right wing that they were comical.

With that said, I hope he continues to live a productive life for as long as possible.

I started out listening to Larry King, then Rush.....he wasn't a far right wing wacko when he first started out.

We all die. Some will mourn Rush's death and some will cheer. He'll be dead either way.
