how is she still a lawyer, and how is she not currently under indictment?

It seems as the GOP has completely lost it's way. Lost it's backbone, it's integrity, it's ability to do anything but focus on the twice impeached, rapist fraudster.

It seems like every few weeks another moderate (ie sane) republican is leaving congress. Here in Texas a purge of moderate republicans occurred during the primaries financed by a political action group funded by christian billionaires. I’m sure something similar is going on in a number of states.

The question of course is what happens to all the people who have been excluded from the party by the rightward shift of Trump and his followers.

Will those voters start a third party or will they start voting democratic or will they hold their nose and stick with the party.

What I do know is that the republican party can’t afford to get smaller than they are now. You can’t grow a majority without bringing in younger voters.

There will eventually be a reckoning at the polls. The question will it be in 2024 or 2028.

But it seems obvious to me that the OP is correct. The republican party has been fully trumpified.
