If you want safe then stay in Frisco. But you need to be closer than that to Central Expwy. There are some ok places there.

I would recommend the high 5 area, 635 at 75, best connected location in North dallas.

Also a very clear menu and better pictures will go a long way in Dallas.

Sure, if you want the most expensive area in the DFW...

I would say explore everything along 635 between I-35 and 75.

And select what works best for you considering price, and maybe other needs, such as what else do you want to do, like shopping or something else.

These whole area will be far from most good BBQ, but close to Addison where there is plenty to do.

I'm not sure about 75/635 area. It's probably convenient for a lot of folks, but it had a bad reputation a few years back. Not sure about now.

True. 75 and 635 is where all the Asian spas and street walkers are located. The clientele is seedy

Galleria isn't even the most expensive part of Dallas to stay... Downtown is about the same, price wise.... portions of Irving are more as are some places in Frisco.

I can Priceline a 4 star in the Galleria for under 80 bucks most of the time.
