Texas Massage Establishments Closed From March 20 to April 3

AUSTIN – As of midnight on March 20, all Texas massage establishments are closed until April 3 by executive order of Gov. Greg Abbott. The closure is intended to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

TDLR reminds other practitioners that they must continue to observe sanitary requirements. Anyone seeking guidance about whether to continue providing services should contact their local health departments or county judges, who are authorized to make that decision.

When they open up again on the 3rd there will be lines so long people will ask if it’s for toilet paper. The response will be, “No. It’s to see my ATF.”

I was at Parlor on NW Military and was told to call if the open sign was not on. I suspect this goes for all spas where the girls sleeps there.

The pandemic is real and serious. Nobody knows who has it so how do you know the guy before you on the table did not have Covid19? Or that the provider hasn't picked it up from another. I can wait for a few weeks until the dead are counted and it's safe to go out and buy toilet paper.

With crime down the police will have time to check and see if establishments are closed like they should be. The business will be cited with a ticket, not sure what a customer being serviced who is inside a closed business will be given... LOL
