What do you think of providers with "handlers"??

I met up about a week ago with someone new. Sorry, no review yet. We talked beforehand, I read her reviews, it all seemed good. But when she arrived it was obvious she had somebody with her. Guy stared me down, made me feel real uncomfortable. Maybe I've just never dealt with this before but it freaked me out.
