Tips...before or after?
TIPS stands for "to insure proper service"...so do you tip up front, or do you tip after and why?
I am a tip up front kind of person whether it's my masseur, my housecleaner or a provider. Why? Well, I'm sorry, but every single person I've ever met will work harder when they know up front there's extra money in it. I don't care who it is.
That being said, I very much appreciate the person who works equally hard not knowing whether or not that money is coming so if it is a tip at the end kind of deal (restaurant, hair, pedicure) I am likely to give a larger tip because they had no idea it was coming, and still put in just as much elbow grease.
If you don't tip, I'm not really interested in your opinion. I'm also not interested in hearing a debate on why you shouldn't tip. I lived in Canada for four years and know the whole other side of the tipping argument. However, American culture dictates it (and in a restaurant where they make 2 bucks an hour and are taxed 10% on sales you are a massive dickfuck if you don't tip at least 15%). So therefore, we are talking about tipping itself. Not why it shouldn't exist at all (which is more of where I am with it for restaurants...raise the prices and pay workers fairly). Start your own thread if you want to host a drama llama please and thank you

tips
I have done it both ways. However if I get less than good service when I tip up front, then I don't go back to give the provider a second chance. I have a lady [you notice I said LADY] that I see at least twice a month. I always take a gift with me or leave a nice tip. She has became a friend as well, just don't let that get in the way of our business arrangement. If we haven't seen each other for 7-10 days she will text to see if every thing is ok. Treat your provider right and she will treat you right, if she doesn't treat you right find one that will. My two cents for what it's worth.

No tipping. The flat rate should be more than enough. What else are these girls gonna do? Flip burgers?

I've always felt one should put their rates where if a guy doesn't tip it doesn't really matter. My lovers get proper service whether they tip or not. Imo the best tip is repeat visits (and word of mouth). But I feel it's smart(er) if one tips after unless they have a long and consistent history with that provider of always performing exceptionally.
@hookerpickerupper what do you mean what else are we gonna do? There are plenty of us who do not rely on the "hobby" alone to keep us fed and either had other careers before coming into this and this took the front (or only) seat OR have other careers that are our primary income (not being an escort) while being an escort just supplements that. Only difference between a lot of escorts and their clients is merely you are the "buyer" and we're the "seller".

My reward at the end is to keep him coming back with a smile and a hug before he leaves. Also that we are both satisfied.

The way that interperets to me is unless you tip you will not recieve the service you paid for with the results that should be expected as a course of business. And honestly since you have stated this is your view, this speaks to your business as well. I would steer clear of you simply on that basis as I would believe you were not proving an equal effort based on no tip.

Not your choice. You opened up a post . You dont get to choose to not hear arguements against your point of view. If you dont want to hear folks who dont agree with you. I would suggest not posting.

I agree its a poor system. But coming from a restaurant family where I also worked as a server to put food on my table. I disagree. The service provided still determines the amount of tip. They start out at 15% for me. If they provide good service it goes up. If they provide poor service it goes down. They are not entitled to a free ride.

Agreed it needs to be altered. Drastically.

i tip at the end so the service provider has to work for it, instead of get gratuity and not perform a good enough service
in my experience tipping up front works well with some people and not with others

The only place I have noticed tipping on the front end helps is when your out at a bar or other crowded event. This is not a tip for good service. This is almost always a tip so you bump everyone else to get service first.

I don't really consider it a tip, I consider it a gift... a token of affection and appreciation.
And it tends to insure that one "forgets it's a service"

I've tipped, and not tipped. I've done it advance and afterwards. I've tipped bad service and not tipped great service, and have felt appropriately bad about both. I agree that we shouldn't have to, given that we're already paying a lot per hour. I don't always bring more than the donation to the session.
God, you're already making HUNDREDS of dollars per hour. Who the hell started this tip bullshit!?! Oh, that's right. Guys who make a shitload of money and use it to flaunt, and compensate. Tipping virtually suggests that we aren't spending enough on them as it is.
Wish I could freaking make $2-300+ an hour.

Tipping is for people in the service industry who make less than minimum wage. Like the waitstaff at Salt Grass or Chuy's. Not for somebody that makes 300/hour.
The couple of times I took a shot at some eccie girls I did leave an extra 40 bucks or whatever because I didn't have the right amount and never heard a "thank you" lolol

I personally give the best service I can each session, mainly because it makes the time enjoyable for both of us, also it generates more quality business in the future. The only time I even think about tips is when a client leaves one. I don't ever expect one and truthfully, before or after or none at all dosnt change my quality of service at all.
