Incredible the economy is booming better than was expected. I feel certain that this will continue as these policies have been put into place over the past 3 years.

Institutional traders control the movement in the stock market. They would not be buying up stocks with this kind of volume if they thought the economy was doing bad. The DJIA did set a new all time high under Sleepy Joe's watch.
Biden/Harris in 2024!

But the economy isn't that good. It depends on the numbers you look at and highlight. If a Republican were in the White House the Headlines would record credit card debt, record defaults on credit cards shows economy struggling. Plus record early withdrawal from 401K accounts.
For over 50% of Americans the economy isn't great, and getting worse.

The government isn't responsible for people running up their debts they can't repay. That is personal responsibility.

Excellent point. I have several family members who through their own stupidity ran up credit card debts and got into financial difficulty. Two declared bankruptcy to get out of the mess THEY created.

This makes about as much sense as the highway department causing traffic accidents.
Or the lady that blames McDonalds for making her fat.

The credit card industry needs more regulation. Trump rolled back some of the regulations.
I think unsecured lines of credit need to be limited to no more than 10% of the average of your last 3 years income reported on your taxes. There could be provisions for high net worths or if you have significant equity in a home. Student loans would have to be excluded, but private student loans would have limits.
