I'd say the probability of anything being done at CERN bringing grief to us is way far less than the probability that whatever shit-for-brains gets elected Preznit of the You-Nighted States will manage to kick off a nuclear war. And that includes the current Infestor of the Oval Orifice, who still has a decent fraction of a year to go. Seriously, if you want to worry about global catastrophe, that would be a much better place to start, in my as-always humble opinion.
It kinda sits at the same level as ‘contrails’.
While I’m not a nuclear physicist, the energy levels created by the magnets is probably greater than the phenomenon in question.
In the 1920’s and 1930’s scientists were able to split the atom but could not do it in quantities large enough to cause an explosion.
I doubt they are opening a portal.
Some creative imagination though. Something like this would be hard to hide in the open world.
I would imagine some of these videos are CGI.
Such as this of the Space Shuttle supposedly destroyed by aliens.
