Suh, the Detroit Lions football player was reinstated for the game against the Cowboys. See, he's learned to be a SUBTLE filthy football player. Goodell is an ASSHOLE for letting this bag of SHIT enter a football stadium.

But hey! What do you expect from an NFL commissioner who thinks the punishment for domestic violence is a two game suspension??

Suspend the guy, overturn the suspension because it was an accident, but then fine him 75,000 for the so called accident.

Pro....in this case, the buck didn't stop at Roger's office; this case went directly to the NFL Appeals Office, where Ted Cottrell was authorized to hear the facts, listen to Suh's explanation and make a final judgement.

Cottrell, upon hearing this case, made it clear he did not believe Suh's claim that it was so cold that his feet were numb and subsequently could not feel Rodger's leg as he stepped on him (sounds like an excuse a 6-year old would make.....Suh's not only a dirty player; he's an idiot and a liar.) The fact the fine is so high is an admission they don't believe him....so why overturn the suspension?

Answer: Ratings and Money. This story only adds a tad more intrigue to this upcoming game and through this manipulation the final TV numbers could be monstrous.

Ted Cottrell has a history of siding with the players who have violated player safety rules (play that's been deemed dangerous or illegal)....most recently, he's directly responsible for overturning suspensions (or reducing fines) of other players (ie: Ed Reed in 2012 and Tampa Bay's Dashon Goldson in 2013).

No question the Suh / Rodger's case was based partially (if not entirely) per the result of the dirty play (ie: had Suh stepped back onto Aaron Rodger's hand and broken a bone don't you believe the suspension would've been upheld?)

The upside: the spotlight that's going to be on Suh the entire game this coming Sunday (and more importantly the attention of the zebras) will be intense. And the player opposite of him (first round rookie guard, Zack Martin) has a huge opportunity to become a local (if not, national) hero if he goes out and has an outstanding game versus this lying jerk.

I don't really follow foitball, especially pro football, but what was the big deal. The guy committed an act of mild egregious voilence in a game that sells and promotes extreme egregious violence? He's the heel and he's playing his role. But if he doesn't get to fight in the next round, there's no reason to have the heel, right?

Suh has been fined / suspended 8 times, previously... He is a dirty player, but so are some of his teammates... Dominic Raiola, the Lions center, was suspended last week for stepping on Chicago Bears defensive tackle Ego Ferguson.

Godell had nothing to do with overturning the suspension, it was Ted Cottrell, a former player. The suspension was overturned and a fine assessed because the NFL CBA allows players to be forgiven of prior safety violations if they are clean for 32 games (including 2 pre-season games per year). This happened in Suh's 33rd game since his last suspension / fine. Suh was wrong, but, per the CBA, they could only fine him.

The big deal is that the NFL is a league of superstar skilled-position players. The rules and suspensions in place are the kind that could have extended the careers of players like Troy Aikman, Sterling Sharpe, Steve Young, etc. The league doesn't want to have players like Aaron Rodgers miss time.

I have a problem with a player in any sport who intentionally and illegally causes harm to another player which could deprive the injured player of his livelihood and his paycheck.

Whatever fine it was, it wasn't enough. Only when guys like Suh are thrown out of sports will other players think twice about doing this shit.

The NFL just gave Suh another chance to end another player's career.
