Note to the ladies about Showcases
First of all, I think the showcase option is a great addition to the board and is very helpful in finding much-needed (and much-appreciated) information.
With that said, may I suggest, ladies, that you go back and take a look at your showcases to make sure the information about your measurements are correct? I have come across a number of them this weekend where one of the three numbers was incorrect. In most, if not all, cases it seemed to be typing issues where a nearby key was pressed instead--for instance, typing 24C instead of 34C for breast measurement.
On another note, you may want to click through your photos and see how they appear when they are clicked on by someone else viewing your showcase. Some of these have such low resolution that they don't launch in a large enough format to see much when doing a click-through. I believe the mods can probably help you in getting your photos formatted in a way that will allow them to be seen without the use of a magnifying glass.
One final item...If you include links to Web sites, reviews or other locations where you have listings or data, you may want to be sure these are up-to-date as some of the URL's (like on Backpage or other sites) get deleted or changed, or go inactive over time.
While most of this is probably easy for us guys to figure out when we look at the pictures, it may be helpful to just have it right from the start.
All said, it's a great tool and I appreciate all of you sweethearts who have taken the time to build your showcases. It has gone a long way toward making this a premier site for the exchange of information.
