We should start a commissary fund to some ex-college football player in prison with this pimpled pimp. I think $500 could get some "Nike action" going on this slime bag

Actually, Mr. Pimp has a good point.
He got convicted of robbing and beating someone up. He deserves a severe punishment for that.
However, they threw in a false charge of using a dangerous weapon because he had his shoes on. i.e. they treated the shoes the same way they'd treat carrying a club or a fighting knife for the purpose of attacking people.
If they can call it a crime for him to "carry" his "dangerous" shoes, maybe the government should have to charge Nike for creating these dangerous weapons. Maybe Nike should ban the sales of these shoes to children and require a permit.
Punish him for the crime he DID commit. Don't let the government make up fake charges just because he's unpopular. Someday, they might well charge you with carrying a dangerous weapon because you could stab someone in the eye with that pencil you had in your pocket.
Government bullshit and trumped up charges are nothing to put up with.

I understand the being upset about trumped up charges, but that's not NIke's fault. he needs to talk to his lawyer or get a new one.
