What is the Republican 2024 platform?
So, prior to upcoming debates, I'd like to know the Republican platform stance on several issues:
Immigration: Pretty sure I know, but being in mid-America don't really care, so opine if you wish, others may care.
Healthcare: more relevant to most of us
Social Security and Medicare: Big deal for seniors, a large demographic that seems to require some attention.
Tax, income, etc. policy, especially in relation to flat tax, closing loopholes, etc.
Gun Control: Don't bother to reply please...beyond control.

Orwell's 1984 was meant to be fiction or warning, not the instruction manual O'Bama, O'Hillary and O'Biden use. But I do like the purported Project 2025 goals posted. So I list them again...
Quote:
Project 2025 will end America’s border crisis by:1. Thoroughly enforcing existing immigration laws.
2. Aggressively constructing a wall on our southern border.
3. Efficiently identifying and rejecting fraudulent asylum claims.
4. Restoring the “remain in Mexico” policy for people awaiting
asylum claims.
5. Arresting, detaining, and removing immigration violators anywhere in the United States. These policy reforms will end our decades-long border crisis—which will restore the rule of law and help American workers.

Thought I would bold font the first line to make it more purdy...
But TBH, I thought the published plan was to round up all Demonicrat politicos, send them to Guantanamo until trial, then the sentencing...

#2 could not be funded under Trump even with a Republican Congress. But there might be more support for it today than when Trump was in office. It is still debatable as to how effective a border wall will be in stopping illegal immigration.
#3 would require manpower increases of a huge magnitude. The main problem with Biden's asylum policies is that there are not close to enough judges to assess the validity of the claims for asylum. People are let into the country and given a court date possible years in the future to return and get a decision on their asylum requests.
#4 -- Okay, we tell those people coming to our borders in the thousands to "remain in Mexico" while their asylum requests are processed. Where do these people live while they await for the asylum requests to be processed? As pointed out in #3, these asylum requests could take years to be processed unless, once again, a huge number of judges are hired and sent to the border to work. It is so easy to say "That's their problem".
#5 -- Yes, the number of illegals entering this country has certainly increased under Biden but deportations have also increased.
"Since Biden has taken over office, these numbers have increased drastically. During the course of the 24 months of the 2019 and 2020 fiscal years, the DHS documented 1.4 million arrests under Trump. On the other hand, in less than 26 months, the Biden administration's DHS has made over 5 million arrests. Furthermore, the Biden administration has deported the majority of individuals apprehended, but the Trump administration deported a minority of them. Specifically, the Biden government is deporting people at a rate that is 3.5 times higher each month than it was under Trump."

Interesting that the only comments relate to immigration...I was hoping for a more comprehensive listing of platform planks.

I listed the Rodeo Round up plank. Other than that I expect cutting the size of the government behemoth and taxes substantially.

Standard (as a mask) plank.
Nobody wants to be specific. I would say the GOP wants to eliminate women's voices, but that would be "bomb throwing", right?
I just want to gargle them.

Agreed. And I got a fuckin' accumulated warning from bio for posting as such in imagery.
Fuck it! That's how I roll. Get banned and then come back just before the election? What do you think, my good Republican friend?

Hey. That's trumpfs platform. It mirrors mein kampf to a T.
Punish his rivals
Extend his powers
Change election laws
These are a few platform issues he's committed to publicly.
