Default Who’s more honest and thoughtful, Liberal or Conservative voters?

How about a thread to (hopefully) reveal who’s more honest and thoughtful, Liberal or Conservative voters? I’ll start. I generally vote for the conservative; I voted for both Bush and Ted Cruz, but have my complaints about both. For example, I didn’t like it when Cruz forced the government shutdown. I didn’t like it when Bush Sr violated his campaign promise to raise taxes. I didn’t like it when Bush Jr invaded Iraq. Now it’s your turn Liberal voters, show us you actually THINK about the consequences of your vote(s) for Obama – is there anything you disagree with or do you just defend everything he does and shout down his detractors using snarky rhetoric? In recent times, many top democrat politicians and stars of liberal media have found fault with Obama, can you? The rules: If you’re Liberal, you’re only allowed to negatively comment on Obama, other liberal politicians or left-leaning media. If you’re Conservative, you’re only allowed to negatively comment on conservative politicians or right-leaning media. In both cases, you have to offer reasonable support. No snarky remarks from either side about another's post.

I think you would have to be a retard if you are a Dem to agree with 100% of his decision and the same applies to republicans who agree with 100% of their party actions. I don't like Obama's stance on Gay marriage.
However, don't mean to throw a monkey wrench in your thread but I am actually Independent. To sum it up- I just think in recent years the GOP has been too Pro Wealthy and many of their policies don't support the middle class.

I don't think any pollination is honest or thoughtful after they are elected.

I don't think liberal or conservative voters are very thoughtful at all.

Gotta love that, voters aren't smart at all....

You do leave out the moderates and you're asking us to criticize people who claim to be conservatives and not conservative positions. That is easy, I disagree with any conservative who thinks that another amnesty (since the last one failed) is the answer to immigration. I disagree with any conservative who believes that the debt is not a problem when republicans run the house. I disagree with any conservative changes their position depending on who is in the White House. I disagree with any conservative that abandon their principals for the expediency of the moment. I disagree with any conservative that thinks that just being called a conservative is enough to satisfy conservative voters.

Very thoughtful post, sickpuppy. However, I disagree with any politician who believes that American voters can and should be divided into only two ideologies.

In your case it (inability to be honest or thoughtful) started at pollination.

Apparently you're a libertarian - so under "the rules" what don't you like about libertarians? Enlighten us, I don't think there are many libertarians who post to this thread and I seldom see Ron Paul bumper stickers.

I don't know of any conservatives such as those you mention and disagree with

is this semantics and a jibe using the word "conservative" with the appendage "so called" to be understood?

I'm simply pointing out that some pols call themselves conservatives and some are called conservatives by the media (depending on the day of the week) but I am talking about real conservatives who stray from the course. People like Bush or Christie are not my people and they will do what they will do. If you want specifics; I disagree with some of the recently stated positions of Rubio, Cruz, and Carson on immigration. I need further clarification outside the filter of the media to know what they are planning.

I vote mostly conservative. I disagree with just about everyone on amnesty. The inability to find a common middle ground that works does nothing for the country and everything for the politicians.
Rounding up and deporting 30 million people is not realistic. Allowing them to keep coming undocumented is not in the best interest of the country.
I don't agree with conservatives on intrusion into our private lives and what I choose to do that has no bearing on anyone else. On that I am more libertarian. I would definitely vote libertarian if they could put up a candidate that had something better than a snowballs chance in hell of winning.

His Thread”? -- I don’t own this thread. I addressed your “hypocrite” labeling of me you already posted in the other thread you refer to. Restating your assertion here that I’m a hypocrite because I offer different opinions in different ways in different venues to different people doesn’t make me a hypocrite. So, I guess you’re saying you act and say the same things, often using profanity, regardless of the age/gender or beliefs of those around you, in all situations? Who does that? This thread was intended to grant a civil platform for admitting we all make mistakes, without putting down opposing views. Your first post here was reasonably civil. Now you’ve reverted to name calling and profanity on this thread. That’s your right, but why not honor the rules in this thread and take me on in the other thread – that’s where this fight belongs. If you can’t be civil, your comments here are meaningless to me.
