BlowPop made a good observation recently in a thread. He noted that a number of our providers advertise "specials", but when he contacts them, he is disappointed to learn the provider has discounted her rate by $10 or $20. (I always laugh when I see a provider asking for $400/hr and gives a $10 discount--and wonder what she would do if someone actually showed up with $390!)

For me, I would rather the lady provide an extra 30-60 minutes for the session rather than a $$ discount. However, there are many ladies I would like to see, but their rate is outside my comfort zone. Some of these ladies have offered $ discounts of $50-100 and THOSE amounts actually get my attention.

Also 30 minute specials at a rate which approximates 1/2 her hourly rate (rather than 75-90% of her hourly rate) would also get my attention for providers who I would otherwise like to see.

So, to assist our providers (to the extent they give a shit what we think), what kind of realistic special would catch your attention.

And Ladies, let me head off the drama. CHARGE WHAT EVER YOU WANT. PERIOD. ....and correspondingly we PAY what we want!

If a 250 dollar provider drops to $200, that's a special. $200 is my absolute max and my recent review of Brooklyn was an exception.

Most of the specials are there just so you click the ad and send a pm. Most times when they respond its the same price as normal. Since the site refuses to let us know the price of girls upfront it makes it even easier for them to do it.

I understand. Some of the providers point us to their websites or other places to read about the special. One provider posted an ad that she was offering $50 off her regular price. (I can't remember if that was left or removed)

For me, the special has to bring her price into the window I'm comfortable spending. If her normal rate is 240/hr, and she offers 220/hr, I don't even notice. $150/hr would get my attention, though.

And to be honest, I'm sure I miss most of the specials, because there are so many clicks and steps required to find them. I really hope Eccie decides that prices actually do make sense to have in ads; until then, the ads are essentially useless to me.

Since we can see thier reviews, it would be nice if they just said an amount off last posted review, or a percentage off that amount.

It is a HUGE problem for us providers, not being able to mention rates or specifically discuss specials in our ads or showcases. A lot of fellows don't bother to pm, and what I advertise on my website is higher than what I offer ECCIE and P411 members, as is the case with many other providers.

How are we supposed to get discount information out there? We ladies have to make better use of our signature lines and links.

If you click a provider's profile and change the www. in the URL to m. it loads the mobile-friendly version of their profile which displays their rates and specials (assuming she has entered this information).

Not very intuitive. I have no idea why it's on the mobile site but not the normal one. Doesn't make much sense.

There's a reason why rates are no longer shown on ECCIE, possibly something to do with the promotion of prostitution and the financial implications that has on the site's being able to accept credit cards. Another site I know of had the same issue.

It's frustrating, however, and strange that the mobile version remains unaffected.

Any lady (heck, any business owner PERIOD) should care about what her target clientele thinks.

At the same time, we providers should work within our own comfort levels. I don't offer 30-minute sessions as I wouldn't enjoy such brief interludes, and wouldn't feel that I was giving my best effort with an egg timer going. However, I know many gentleman like the drop-your-pants scenario for convenience, expediency, and budget, and those ladies who do provide that option may very well stay in a better position (not just on their knees

) of financial stability over a continuing period because the demand is sustainable.

When I ran a special on my old minimum, the 2-hour package to be unwrapped, it was at least $50 less than normal or an hour extra. I recently started offering a more affordable single-hour session for the first time ever! I listened to what the gentlemen on here wanted and needed with the way the economy and our rat race lives are going.

For any business enterprise (even one the proprietor finds pleasurable) to endure, it must adapt to fiscal reality.

Why would a provider discount the half hour rate? It takes the same amount of time to get ready for a 30 minute session as it does a 60 minute session.

Indeed, and thank you for that observation, but I think CB was referring to a half hour session discounted to 1/2 of an hour session. For instance, I ask $225 an hour (FYI, available to ECCIE and P411 members only), so he might be interested in a half hour if I asked $112.50. From what I've noted, most 30-min appointments advertised here run about $80-$100.
