Minimum sentence of 30 days per count and a fine up to $100K.
The money may not hurt him butt the jail time will.
Perhaps he weighed all his options before opting to take the time. After all, what's 30 days of meat in the seat compared with having to testify under oath?
And ... if he planned to appeal, why didn't his attorneys present a defense?
Fuck that guy. He should be hung drawn and quartered.

He can just be subpoenaed again and likely will. That’s why this was the height of stupidity. This time they’ll just not even negotiate at all with him. And once they send it over to the DoJ he’ll likely get the max.

I agree with the Jury.
Bannon was trying to exercise a privilege he did not have.

Lets tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
The House, a separate and EQUAL branch of government to the Executive branch ordered a private citizen to come before them and testify about what was going on in the Oval Office when he had not worked for Trump for months.
Bannon claimed executive privilege at the requests of President Trump. Congress has no power or authority to decide who does and who does not have executive privilege. Only a court can decided that.
Bannon refused to show up just like Holder did a few years ago. the House held him in contempt of Congress which is not a criminal matter as the House has no law enforcement capabilities.
Eventually Bannon refused to testify again and that made the democrats really mad. So, they filed charges against Bannon.
Here's what they left won't tell you. Trump gave permission for Bannon to testify a short while ago. Bannon said that he would testify in a public forum only so the world could hear everything he had to say. The democrats shut that down. So Bannon went to court charged with something that he had said that he would do only now the democrats didn't want him to testify. Bannon offered no witnesses and no rebuttal as the Obama appointed judge had made it clear that Bannon was guilty before he stepped foot in the courtroom. So much for fairness and due process.
So now, Bannon was found guilty by a corrupt, democrat judge. The last time this happened was 1974, nearly 50 years ago. The whole thing stinks like an outhouse on a hot day.

A judge didn't decide the case, a jury did. Bannon is a piece of shit, doesn't matter if it was a Dem or Rep judge, he would have been found guilty.

Patriot these days means terrorist. At least terrorists are smart and don't do stupid shit over false flags and lies. The only reason Bannon gets away with the stupid shit is he has 50 to 60 mill in the bank and can afford any type of legal defense.

Personally, *I* don't see how executive privilege extends past the time the person who granted it leaves office.

It just depends on what type of information someone might know about. Info regarding national security and is secret probably needs privilege protection. Domestic terrorism, probably not.

I agree. I think it should be up to the subsequent presidents to determine whether the information being protected should be.

The secret of executive privilege is that Congress does not get to decided who, what, or when it exists. That is up to the courts. This is a case where the congress is out over its skis by claiming Bannon is wrong. A decent judge would have told them that. We have a political appointee running things here like almost everything in DC.
