Are there tips or tricks to finding quality escorts? By quality, I mean those that give it their all, and generally enjoy what they do.

I am asking this because I am looking for a few escorts in my area to visit (planning on doing this 1-2 times a month), and the best part about my first session with one was when her smile went from fake to genuine.

I would love to have that experience again, but all I have been able to find in my area are escorts with negative reviews when it comes to personality, and I am not willing to go to downtown Toronto (bloody drivers are insane, not to mention the drive time). Price isn't really an issue for me, as that just means I go less often.

All I can tell you is what's worked for me. I read the discussions on this board. Some of the ladies tend to post quite a bit, and by reading their posts, you can get a feeling for their personalities and intelligence (the ability to correctly write standard English is becoming unusual). It's not infallible, of course, but I do think there's a pretty strong correlation between her smarts and how good a time I have with her. This may not be a very useful method for you, because I don't know that ECCIE is used a whole lot in your part of the world. But maybe you can find a comparable online resource that has more participation locally to you.

When I decided to have breast augmentation, I asked around about specialists, but then I decided to ask the person who sees them all. That was my gynecologist. When I decided to join the hobby, I did a lot of research beforehand and learned quite a bit.
