Default Man of Steel (no spoilers)

Went out to see Man of Steel last night at midnight. Decent movie but I like Batman 3 better. There is nothing at the tail end like we have gotten used to with Marvel movies. About 30 of us were waiting to see. I like it but Batman was better and the English actor was better too.

i didn't really like it much at all. without trying to spoil it too much, i hated that for the vast majority of the movie, he didn't give much of a crap about saving people who needed it, but instead focused only on fighting the bad guy. the one thing about superman is that his duty as a hero comes before his duty as a warrior, and they completely ruined that aspect of his morality. he's known as a boy scout for a reason.

i stumbled across this [WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS: http://thrillbent.com/blog/man-of-st...nce-you-asked/ which pretty much sums up everything i thought about it and more. it's written by mark waid, who's a big name in the industry.
