They didn't have a sign that I remembered....but I saw two guys sitting in lawn chairs with an ice chest full of beer between them.....they were so lazy they didn't even get up unless someone waved them over to give them cash.

Now that's some fine beggin' there!

Saw another guy with a sign a few months back......need $$ for beer and hookers.....should have taken a picture.

Lady that used to be on Rundberg and I-35 a few years ago. On crutches, leg was amputated to the hip bone. Sign read: "On my last leg. Please help."

Had to admire her self humor and creativity.

I 'saw' the lady on crutches on my last leg she would do car calls for $30 bucks spinner not bad at all looking just the handicap

honestly it's a good way to prop. women for some money, more than they would get panhandling

I wouldn't say that offering someone an opportunity to give up what tiny shred of dignity they have left at the lowest point in their lives is doing them any favors. Nor is it being generous to your fellowman.

Imagine your daughter financially stranded by her husband because she's sustained an injury or illness leaving her with one leg and depression. This in turn results in mental illness and homelessness.

Now imagine some old fat fuck comes along in his family SUV offering her $30 to suck his dick or $50 to take it up the ass.

It certainly is more than she might make on the corner that night begging.

Anyone out begging on the corner is there by choice...they need not be there...

we have in this area both public and private entities that will give them food, shelter...

some resources made available allow these folks to eat better than you and I...i know firsthand...you would be shocked

if they're out there to feed their addiction, they have no dignity and are owed no favors

AGREED!! Which is why if they make me laugh ill give em something i think they WANT I Know they NEED nothing..or rather what they NEED I could not provide...
