Arrow Austin providers - PC/Mac consulting, repair for YOU

Hello lovely Austin ladies:

I am a 20+ year veteran techie. I would love to assist you with any PC/Mac problems you may be experiencing in exchange for your services.

Let's say one hour of my time in exchange for 1/2 hour of yours. If it's not fixed, you don't owe me.

Don't call Geek Squad - message me!

See ya soon . . .

I see nothing but big problems coming from this for both sides. To get a my computer fixed is $60 hr. Highest I've seen was a $100 hr, But thats mostly for businesses.

So $60 to $100 a hourly on a average.. Is it really worth, all the things that can go wrong? ijs

Mostly people don't pay an hourly rate for computer repairs and will pay per fix. Most businesses will pay an hourly rate, but they are usually requiring multiple hours of service and support. That being said, the average cost of a quality computer repair starts at around $200. When it comes to computers you are not paying for time as much as experience. I am a computer tech for a very large tech company and have also worked at Geek Squad as well as smaller retail shops. He's going off a standard time allotment of a 2hr onsite repair that would run $200-$300 and this being an average for 1hr of time for the providers he hopes respond to his offer.

Personally, I would say he should amend his offer not of time, but per fix, as many things can be fixed in less than an hour. Does this mean he shouldn't get any return on his efforts because he's good enough to get it done faster? The same could be asked of a provider that is so good men pop at the mere touch of her, should she only get paid for 5minutes vs the whole hour?

If you're good at something never do it for free, I think many providers will understand that statement.
